Little Troubles 1k @ BabyFurCon

The tournament is Grade School format, meaning all cards with marked rarity are LEGAL.

Sign-ups begin once Basil or other Bigs are on site (some time early Thursday) with forms, and once you are registered with  your Event Board in hand, you may begin seeking other Troublemakers!

You’ll have until Saturday at close of vending hours to complete 5 rounds of Little Troubles and complete your Event Board!

Players may switch decks between rounds, but NOT between games. Determine what deck you will play before any pre-round discussion has occurred.

Scoring is as follows:

• Play a Match (a best of 3 games session is a Match in Little Troubles) Little Troubles +1 point
• WIN a Match of Little Troubles +2 points
• WIN a Match of Little Troubles with an opponent who’s current score is more than 3 points lower than your own -1 point

Players with a complete board will return their sheet by close of vending Saturday to the Little Troubles booth and each player will then be placed based on their score. Tiebreakers will check negative modifiers first then completion time after that. 

Should there be more than a 16 person share for the top 8 position, an additional Single Round Elimination session will take place in the Tabletop Gaming room to eliminate players to settle on a top 8 roster.

Finals will take place Sunday at 10am, in single round elimination 40 minute timed matches. Players will have 2 turns each after time to do their best to resolve their games, at which point a winner will be determined based on proximity to win(closer to 100 cookies or 10 fight wins).

In order to collect a cash prize, players who earn more than 100 dollars may need to provide us with some personal information in order to receive a 1099-MISC. If you do not wish to share this data, Store Credit is an option instead of cash.

Little Troubles Artist Signing!

Almost 30 of our almost 140 artists are going to BFC, and we’ve brought cards for them to sign! Come out Saturday at 3:30 at the Main Stage and get some brand new cards as well as your favorite cards signed!

We recommend quick-dry, fine tip metallic tone Sharpies for best results! Having a portable fan to dry your signatures is a great way to preserve them perfectly, and picking your favorite non-foil cards is also highly recommended! Foil cards CAN be signed, but you should be prepared to commit a minimum of 5 minutes  to letting them dry fully before sleeving.

We’ll be providing cards AND sharpies at the event but its unlikely we’ll have enough pens for everyone, so take these last few weeks leading up to the con to find your favorite colored sharpie to really make those signatures your own! There might even be an exclusive merit badge just for attending!

Learn the card types and how they, progression of a turn, how to use the potty, and even the basics of what makes a solid deck. Pop in or pop out with Bigs on hand to answer your questions! There might even be an exclusive merit badge just for attending!
